Кто я?
Всем привет!
Меня зовут Катарина, мне 25 лет и я из Германии. Перед тем, что приехала в Минск, я училась в Бременском Университете по специальности Европейский Наук (European Studies) и работала с людьми с органичными возможностями. Чем я еще занимаюсь? Я люблю ехать на велосипеде, играть на гитаре и петь, танцевать, играть в настольные игры и есть сырки 🙂 .
Чем занимаюсь в Беларуси?
Я работаю ESC-волонтеркой в Офисе продвижения инициатив. Там провожу два курса немецкого языка. При этом будут разные другие мероприятия. А не только в Минске будет что-то происходить, но моя задача также, ехать по школам в Беларуси и проводить воршопы. Кроме этого я еще помогаю в доме, где люди с инвалидностью учатся самостоятельно жить.

А почему, какого черта я решила сюда приехать? 😀
Это наверное вопрос, который задают чаще всего, не только в Германии, даже больше в Беларуси. И, честно говоря, у меня нету точного ответа. Три года назад, я первый раз ездила в Беларусь чтобы участвовать в беларусско-немецкой летней школе — и это было начало всего. Я вернулась домой и у меня были больше вопросов чем перед тем, что приехала, на которые я искала ответ. После этого ездила в Беларусь на две летных лагерей, на семестр и на практику. Вот и все 🙂 . Я думаю, что я хочу понимать эту страну со своими контрастами и противоположностями.
A bit about me – who am I?
Hi there!
My name is Catarina, I am 25 years old and from Germany. At the moment I am a volunteer in Minsk for a year. Before I came to Minsk I studied European Studies at Bremen University and worked with people with disabilities. What else do I do or love to do? I enjoy riding by bike, playing the guitar and singing, dancing, playing table games and eating Cyrki 🙂 (that are bars of quark with chocolate around it).
What is this Blog about?
In this blog I am writing about my impressions, experiences and thoughts concerning my voluntary year in Belarus in English and Russian. I will be happy to discuss topics here also and to write about topics that you are interested in. So feel free to share you thoughts and ideas!
What do I do here in Belarus?
I work in the Office for Initiative Promotion in Minsk. There are taking place two German cources and I will be also involved in different other activities. Furthermore I work with people with disabilities who are learning to live on their own. But not only in Minsk something is going to happen but also in other regions of Belarus. My task is to organize workshops in different schools in Belarus as well.

And why the hell did I decide to come here? 😀
That is maybe the mostly asked question not only in Germany but even more in Belarus. And to be honest I do not have a precise answer. Three years ago I came for the first time to Belarus for participating in a Belarusian-German summer school – and that was the beginning of everything. I went back home and I had more questions I was searching an answer for in my head than before. After that I went to Belarus for participating in two summer camps, for a semester and for an internship. That it is 🙂 . I think that I want to unterstand this country with its contrasts and contradictions.
